Jackson has really been excited about Christmas and his "birsday" coming up. We talk about it all the time. I thought I would fill you in on a little converstion that was held tonight. It was between me (M), Wayne (D), Jackson (J), and Uncle Ben (B).
Jackson brings out a pair of his New Balance tennis shoes wanting me to put them on him.
J: Will you put these on, Mommy?
M: No. You are getting ready to go to bed.
Jackson walks off to play with something.
D: Jackson, what are you going to get me for my birthday?
M: I thought you wanted shoes like Jackson.
D: Not for my birthday, maybe Christmas or something.
Jackson is just watching and listening and playing all at the same time.
B: Jackson, tell Daddy you are going to buy him a gun.
J: Gun. (While looking at Wayne.)
J: POW, POW, POW, POW!
D: Jackson, what are you going to get Mommy for her birsday?
Jackson thought really hard for a minute and looked at me with the straightest face and said... "You like Cinderella?"
I just busted out laughing. I couldn't even answer him I was laughing so hard. This is so hard to portray without you seeing it happen, but I hope you found it as funny as I did!
